The Business of Giving: The Legacy Continues

Claude Kershner, Jr.
Kershner Office Furniture believes in continuing a Legacy of Giving that was forged with Claude Kershner Jr., founder of C.B. Kershner, Inc. and father of Bruer Kershner, President of Kershner Office Furniture. Bruer integrates philanthrophy in his daily business operations.
Kershner Office Furniture recently reached out to the local community by sharing products with both ALCAMO Family Centers in Norristown and Little Sisters of the Poor in Philadelphia, PA.
ACLAMO Family Centers, a charitable, non-profit organization, provides educational, health, economic, social and cultural opportunities to low-income individuals and families in Montgomery County, especially those of Spanish-speaking heritage.

The Congregation of the Little Sisters of the Poor began in 1839 when Jeanne Jugan opened her home to an elderly, poor, blind woman. From this simple response of love, her work has become a mission which reaches the elderly poor in thirty-one countries throughout the world. The Little SIsters of the Poor care for the elderly with love and respect until death.
After my introduction to Sister Veronica, I was convinced there is likely not greater care in the most premium of elder homes than to be the recipient of the generous love of the Little Sisters of the Poor.
